The Book of Seances is a wonderful medium-sized book that contains a wide variety of information on a wide variety of topics. Such as: death, seances, the Otherworld, types of divination, the types of tools you can use with each technique, and an in-depth look into each of their histories. I really loved this book, the art in each section, the good quality pages, and the fact that it is hardback – bonus! Claire goes into detail in each section, providing a great explanation for each and providing good chunks of research into the history of each type of divination which I think is really important. There is also a reference section at the back which I really loved. I will definitely be keeping this for future reference!
